Privacy Policy
Effective Date: April 18, 2026
Welcome to MailsDrop. Your privacy is critically important to us. This Privacy Policy governs how the MailsDrop Team ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and handles your information when you use our temporary email service.
1. Information We Do NOT Collect
MailsDrop is designed to protect your privacy by minimizing data collection. We operate with a strict 100% in-memory infrastructure:
- No Email Storage: Incoming emails are instantly passed to your web browser and are never stored on our hard drives or databases. As soon as you close your browser tab or delete the inbox session, all contents are permanently irretrievable.
- No Registration: We do not ask for your name, phone number, address, or real email address.
2. Information We Automatically Collect
While we do not store emails, we do collect necessary technical metadata for the core functionality and security of the website:
- Server Logs: Like all web services, our servers may temporarily log your IP address, browser type, and time of access for anti-abuse and security monitoring.
- WebSockets: Active sessions temporarily map your unique token to your IP address to deliver real-time messages. This link is destroyed immediately when you disconnect.
3. Third-Party Analytics and Advertising
To keep MailsDrop free, we utilize third-party services that may use cookies or similar tracking technologies:
- Analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand website traffic and usage. It collects anonymized demographic and interaction data.
- Advertising Partners: We display ads from networks like Google AdSense. These networks use cookies to serve personalized ads based on your prior visits to our website or other sites on the internet.
You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings or opt-out of personalized advertising via the Google Ads Settings page.
4. Age Restrictions
Our service is strictly for individuals who are 16 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that a child under 16 has provided us with personal information, we take steps to securely delete such information immediately.
5. Contact Us
